BEHIND THE ARTWORK

Hi, I am Agnes.

I'm Agnes Katherine, a self-taught Polish-Canadian artist working from my home studio in Ontario.

I create mixed-media portraits and floral artwork using watercolour, acrylic and paper. Making art gives me space to slow down, notice the colours in the garden, and enjoy the beauty in ordinary moments.

Paper has a special place in my work. I love its texture and the depth that layers can bring to a piece. Some of my papers are hand-dyed, and every collage is cut and built by hand, with care.

My work celebrates the feminine spirit and everyday beauty.
I hope you find something here that you would love to live with.
